Tomland was formed after Mike Young left the band in 1993. We looked for a bass player, couldn’t find one, so I went out, bought a bass and amp and became a bass player. Bill Leach played guitar, and Tom Rangoni played drums. Tom died in 1998 from a bout of pneumonia. Had he gone to a doctor he probably would still be alive.

A lesson for all.

Tom was a very enigmatic soul, unlike any drummer I’ve played with. I wrote a LOT of material with him, some of which has never seen the light of day.

Yet.

This was a jam that I wrote with him and Mike Young while in Chartreuse. Don’t know why we called it Halloween. Just a name or maybe that’s when it was written.
